HOMESTAYS/GUEST HOUSES IN LEH:

Sheldan Holiday Home
Highly recommended by many, very clean, spacious rooms. Have their own garden where they grow vegetables and fruits. The owners are good hosts and also own a supermarket on changspa road. Attached bathrooms.
Location: Changspa road.

Atisha Guest house 
Recommended by many, very clean, spacious, hot water till 2 PM. Rooms at 2nd floor are spacious. Most rooms have attached bathroom.
Location: In a small lane near Fort Road.

Greenland Hotel
Recommended – Lovely garden, clean place, tasty food, filtered water to refill, hot water heated through solar between 10 and 5 in evening (or else heated separately in a bucket). Traditional Ladakhi compost toilet. Both Main Market and Changspa road are very near to it.
Location: Changspa Road, Leh / Right Across Asia Guesthouse.

Ashoka Guest house 
Very much Recommended. Clean, good stay, well maintained, a bit inside and no food, only tea is available. Close to Leh main market. Hot water is available.
Location: Tukcha Road, Leh / Off Fort Road.

HOMESTAYS/GUEST HOUSES IN & AROUND PANGONG TSO:

At Pangong Tso Lake, if you want to stay near the banks of the lake then tents are the only option for you. Otherwise, there are several options available in Spangmik and few at Lukung which are very near to lake (about 150-200 Mtrs) with full view of it from the rooms. Tangste , about 30 kms from Pangong Tso, has 4-5 guest houses having rooms with attached toilets. Homestays available at Spangmik does offer ladakhi style rooms but most of them have shared toilets or toilets outside the house.

Padma / Gongma / Sasoma Guest House – There are clean toilets, some of them western too but not attached. Basic food as prepared for other ladakhi family members too. No electricity.
Location: Spangmik Village, Pangong Tso – Ladakh.

Eco Huts – Lukung, Pangong Tso. Comfortable luxury tented accommodation with attached western toilets. Dormitory style Dhabha tents as well as room based accommodation also available, own electricity source. Dormitory based tents are a bit cheaper, in the range of Rs. 600 without meals.
Location: Lukung Village, Pangong Tso – Ladakh.

Dothguling Guest house, Tangste – Recommended. Nice, clean and large rooms. Clean western as well as ladakhi style toilets, hot water in buckets.
Location: Tangste Village – Ladakh / Opposite health centre.

Hotel Sten Del (Sangam Bar and Restaurant) 
Very much Recommended being one of the excellent stays in Diskit. Really comfortable, nice and cozy. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Tasty food, good parking space, running hot water. TV with DTH and most importantly nice little garden Bar.
Location: Near Kharyok below Diskit monastery, Diskit, Nubra Valley.

Olthang Guest House
Recommended as one of the nice stays in Diskit. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Parking space, Running hot water.

J&K Tourism Rest House
Spacious, neat and clean.
Location: Diskit, Nubra Valley.

Snow Leopard Guest House 
Very much Recommended. Nice, clean and spacious rooms with attached bathroom. Nice little garden.

Olgok Guest House 
Very clean rooms and not too old. Tasty food.
Location: Hunder, Nubra Valley.

Turtuk Holiday Camp
Spacious, clean and comfortable tents, Nice and fresh food, Bathroom with hot running water and power backup.
Location: Turtuk, Nubra Valley.

PWD Rest House 
Good to stay but should be booked from Diskit or try your luck on the spot. Attached and clean baths.
Location: Turtuk, Nubra Valley.

HOMESTAYS/GUEST HOUSES IN & AROUND TSO MORIRI LAKE:

Tso Moriri lake is a remote place and though accommodation options are good in number but fairly limited to tented accommodation or home stays.

Mentok Guest house
Very much Recommended. Great view of Tso Moriri lake from the rooms. Very clean, warm and carpeted rooms. Shared but western style toilets. Tasty food prepared by the family.
Location: Korzok – Tso Moriri, Ladakh.

Lake View Guest house 
Good to stay. Nice, clean rooms and average food. Good view of the lake.
